Maybe they assume that their kind owners will turn Rafa's head with the promise of transfer fund riches. Sadly I can almost hear the sound of the helicopter approaching ...
I don't really have any issue with them to be honest. They get called deluded. Who does that remind you of? Everyone on the outside has a habit of pigeon holing clubs fans, when really all they want is to watch some good footy, 11 players trying their nuts off, and a manager who seems to know what he's doing. They basically want to be entertained. Given the money we all shell out these days, that should be a minimum for the clubs to provide to be honest. We get accused of thinking we're a massive club. Its one of the Mackems favourite accusations. That along with us being the worst behaved supporters on the planet. You get this **** all the time and people point to one or two incidences or comments to back it up. Its a load of ****e. Good for West Ham not wanting to watch Moyes or Allardyce kick and rush ****e. Good for them to want better for their club and wanting something they feel invested with. I want the same from my club.
Said this before - a lot of the lads I work with are West Ham fans and they are a decent bunch and "proper" football fans They've ended up with a load of new plastics since moving from Upton Park - just been talking to one of the lads at our Ops Depot in Rainham - his reply about Benitez "he'd be bloody daft to leave a big club like Newcastle and come to our shower of **** - if he thinks Ashley's bad, he wants to try and deal with two of them in Gold and Sullivan"
It's just the usual "rent a mob" talking bollocks on Sky - let's be honest every club has their share of twats - it's just that they often seem to get the opportunity to spout their ****e
Living in Romford I can tell you that it is not just a handful of morons - of course it is still a minority but I would say it is at least 25% of them.
