Overall seem much more gracious then the Newcastle lads, which I was quite surprised about. Just been on a couple of their boards and most expect a tough game and would be grateful for a draw! Are people starting to sit up and take note?
Hull are no mugs and away games are not easy in the Premier League... http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=149548
Sounds like their strikers are as bad as ours. Is Noble allowed to play? He got a red card at the weekend?
Yeah it was counted in the cup. This is a tough one to call, we're pretty solid at home (unbeaten) and we'll no doubt be high on confidence. Hopefully it's a good game and we can get a point or scrape a win.
Being related to a number of `ammers fans through marriage, I have to say whilst being passionate they are also very much realists, they have seen the highs and also the lows and tend not to forget this. Good bunch really, but they have been saying that this season they`re strike force is poor, they are desperate to get Carroll fit and going, and from what they`re saying they could well be in the mixer for relegation come end of season unless they find their shooting boots.
I don't think it really matters, players aren't all of a sudden going to look at us and fear us. They'll have the same mindset as before.
Jaskalainen has been on fire again recently. Remember him beating us almost single-handed when he was with Bolton. Just hope he has an off day and Aluko comes up with another piece of magic!
I'm hoping Graham manages to nab one, he definitely needs it more than Aluko and it'll benefit the team if Graham can take the chances he had on Saturday!
Its nice they dont think we will be pushovers. Its a home game for us so it has to be a game that we want to win. I would take a draw to be honest.
I just have a feeling that Danny Graham might just get a couple. He is getting in the right areas, jut needs one to go in and he will be up and running.
Looking there side on paper its very average looking. I know Big Sam has his sides well organized and tough, but I fancy us to turn them over at home, 2-1.
Seriously hope Graham grabs a goal, still cant believe how he didnt stick that head away at the toon! When one goes in im sure a few will follow.
