WEST HAM DEADLINE GAME II

The big finale of this season's Headline Game has now arrived. Who will claim the title over the summer break. Who has deserved to win and who deserves to go back to making the coffee. Who smells of promotion and who reeks of relegation. Don't let bias or prejudice influence you. Honesty and integrity are the hallmark of this Game unlike other Games on this site I hear many say.

Now is the time to have your voice heard and not ignored or disregarded. Now is the time to vote.

In the spirit of the General Election the Supplementary Vote system was used in the first round and after careful scrutiny SCM's entry has made the final.

The rules are as before but if you suffer from ACS then just think what his mother had to go through:

1. You only have one vote.
2. You can vote for yourself.
3. You are voting for the BEST headline.
4. On this occasion you can change your vote.
4. If there is a tie I will have the deciding vote against which there is no appeal or whining. My decision is based on all relevant factors that I think are relevant.

May the best headline win.

 

After yet another close and exciting competition the votes have been counted and a winner has been found.

As before, it has been necessary to fight corruption and protect the honesty and integrity of the only Game on NOT606 able to retain these vital elements in a Society racked by abuses and deception.

The Pervert has the most votes but can a player with no integrity and standards win a Game of this stature. Well, let's look at the reality of the voting. Information from a reliable source in America has indicated that The Pervert is subject to enquiries by the FBI for racketeering, pimping and pandering. I have viewed the evidence and the films many times ( I had to satisfy myself as to the veracity of the allegations...that was all) and without any qualms I am obliged to disqualify The Pervert.

Unfortunately, the Game was subject to attempts by a jealous and sad Games competitor, No Chance, to besmirch and insult the genuine and hard working entrant of the Headline Game by attempting to imply impropriety of some form hoping that the "mud" thrown by him may "stick" and by doing so improve the rather tardy image of his own pathetic attempt at a Game. Well no I as fighter of the honour of the entrants in this ground breaking Game will not allow this and so No Chance has, as they say, no chance of winning as he is summarily disqualified.

Also, rather sadly, we also have an entry from the sites local alcoholic whose entry comprises of simply commenting on how good my entries were. Clearly, he cannot win but Fredd does get our sympathy and hopes that he will be able to make the best of the treatment that I believe he is now receiving.

We then have to look at the next entry where it could be said that the Hangman has really lost the plot talking about food instead of the football match. Some have said that he has been mixing with Fredd a lot recently, most hoped that it was professional in nature but regrettably it now appears not and it looks as though he may have been imbibing some of what Fredd has been on. Given that his entry does not relate to the match in question his entry has been cancelled.

After yet another thorough and transparent investigation it is fitting and my pleasure to announce...

I would just like to thank those who have taught me so much and provided so much invaluable support despite the many detractors and naysayers who have attempted to undermine both me and this fabulous game.

Both Perve and No Chance showing their true colours and simply confirming why they were clearly not suitable or honourable enough to win this most prestigious of Games.
