Does anybody know how many seats West Ham have been allocating this season to the away team? I am a pass holder and can apply using the form, but I want to get a ticket for my folks for a joint mothers/fathers day gift really. Last season I sent them to Notts Forrest away and my dad has a hatred for West Ham since the whole Tevez/Mascherano saga where they should have been relegated but got away with it - hence picking this game this season. Thanks in advance.
A tad early for West Ham game surely ? Apart from being booked on the train for it ive not even got that far yet re. tickets I get one anyway as a pass holder.
Last game of the season, West Ham, possible play-off clincher - we'll be taking our full allocation from pass holder's - there'll be no general sale.
Football ground guide says: Away fans are housed in one end, in the lower tier of the relatively modern Sir Trevor Brooking Stand. The usual allocation for away supporters is 2,200, but if demand requires, away fans can be allocated the whole of the lower tier of the North Stand, where up to 3,600 supporters can be accommodated Common with most Clubs, West Ham operate a category system for matches whereby tickets cost more for the most popular games. However, there a bewildering number of six different categories! The general range in prices are shown below: Away Fans: Centenary Stand (Lower Tier): Adults £45-£35, Senior Citizens £22.50-£17.50, Under 16's £25.50-£17
I was a bit surprised to receive the ticket application email this morning, we don't normally get them six weeks before the game, maybe they want to gauge demand. It could turn out to be a massive game, I think demand will be very high, so they might not make general release. Why are you only limited to one ticket Cortez?
The problem at Upton Park is that getting in takes ages. We could sell 3000 seats but only half will get in to see the start. On the numbers per pass holder, just ring the KC and they will help.
I am a pass holder, but my folks aint. So I can't put them onto the form as they won't have a customer reference number.
that was my point. i get one as a pass holder. as for West Ham, i can see them missing out on automatic promotion now. Play Offs yes but will the pressure get to them and they bottle it. Interesting.....!!!!
what would be best (if we need a win) is they are 3rd and cannot catch 2nd or be caught by 3rd I reckon they would field a league cup side for that
No it wouldn't. If they were guaranteed 1st or guaranteed 2nd they'd put out a strong side to end the season with a win. If they were guaranteed 3rd or guaranteed 4th then they might look to protect players ahead of the playoffs.
As long as the application has a customer reference number on it, I assumed you could buy at least a few tickets, I usually buy a pair of tickets and I bought three tickets for Leicester with one customer reference number on the application.
A tad optimistic, I reckon best case scenario we're looking at 4th, the top 3 are miles away with only 11 games to go. Obviously the top three is still achievable but it'd take a hell of a run from us or a hell of a slip-up from them.
If we do make the play-offs how does allocation work? Obviously I'm not a pass holder and have only seen half a dozen away games this year. Does that mean my hopes of a ticket to play-oofs (or final) are very slim? (I missed out on Wembley last time due to a good friends wedding on the same day, a bit galling after all those years of watching us play Mansfield, Bournemouth, Brentford, Lincoln etc )
Looking ahead to the fixtures the top 3 have coming up thats quite possible. Who would have guessed / thought that Reading would win 8 straight after we wont at there place ?
