Make it quick Sam, and good riddance to a player who was once, a welcome sight in a red and white shirt, but no longer so. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...21/west-ham-aiming-wrap-mccartney-deal-172614 West Ham are hoping to finalise a permanent deal for Sunderland defender George McCartney following their promotion into the Premier League. McCartney has failed to secure a regular first team place at the Stadium of Light and jumped at the chance to re-join the east London club on a season-long loan back in August. The former Northern Ireland international played a major role in helping West Ham gain promotion back into the Premier League and would now love the chance to stay at Upton Park. West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has already started to make plans for life in the Premier League and hopes the club can agree a deal with Sunderland to bring McCartney to Upton Park on a permanent basis.
I think he's already there so no transport required - Although I'd gladly drive down there and ferry him around the east end until the deal is done - just to make sure!!
