Please don;t let it be true in my opinion. Upon reading the article it sounds as if the intention is to loan him to West Ham. Why?!!! Last season he was on loan to a Premiership club and did fairly well, even if he was unable to keep Birmingham up. What good is this loan going to do him, dropping down a level, therefore decreasing his value. I'm sure there are a few clubs in the league who'd be willing to pay £4 million for him.

But it's not getting rid of him is it? It's passing him off on loan yet again. A pointless exercise considering we have no intention of keeping and playing him.
If no one wants to buy him then loaning him's the best option. No point in keeping a player who's on probably 40/50k a week and he doesn't even get game.
If he's not here, we are not paying his wages an iit is another year off his contract, (realistically his transfer fee will be a fraction of what we payed) it is as close as we can get to getting rid, until we find someone desperate or misguided enough to sink some cash into a deal for him.
Could send him out 'til January and try and sell him again. Apparently both he and Hutton missed a training session to go to V festival the other weekend
Wonder what wage contribution we're offering. At the moment he's just a financial drain on the club, have Spurs thought about releasing the player? (If he'd accept)
I know that he threw a load of water over Redknapp, but isn't this a little harsh? Six months in Birmingham, followed by a year at the Boleyn? He'd have got less for taking part in the riots!
Hopefully he'll regain some confidence from playing in a team which SHOULD be challenging for promotion rather than fighting relegation. Then we can fob him off to the Hammers for £6-8 million in a years time. We'll be making a massive loss, but i'm not sure that goal against the gooners wasn't worth £10 million in itself.
