Total lack of respect for us by the pundits on Sky at the end of the game - no mention of our just falling short of the finall playoff place and providing them with a stiff test on Sat. All the talk of whether Coventry could get anything at St Marys..
its alright, i wouldnt worry too much about it. hopefully it will carry on into next season and we'll get automatic without any attention or pressure from the media
****ers, I'm not saying we'll get 3 points on Saturday but we're good enough to give West Ham a game, it's far from a formality that West Ham have the points in the bag. Beggars belief that they can talk about a relegated team getting something at the 2nd place then ignore the team in 8th getting a result at the third place team!
Yeah, but you're forgetting how huge West Ham are. They used to be in the Premier League and sing about bubbles and everything. They'd have walked this division this year, if other teams hadn't had the nerve to beat them.
Saints fan in peace I hate the way sky have a luv in with west ham , you played good football at st marys go teach west ham a lesson
Hope you guys get the last promotion spot, you've deserved it over the season. And of course it would piss West Ham and the brown nosing media right off!
Thanks for that, I ment to say i hate the way sky and the press av a luv in with west ham you beat me to it,I still remember the chant you guys sung at st marys 'your so far south your practically French ' quality all the best Saturday
Sport on R4's 'Today' - the battle is between Saints and West Ham! Can Southampton beat Cov, or will the Hammers finish above them? (No mention of who West Ham have to beat to stand a chance of doing so!)
I hope southampton get the last spot, but only cos it's west ham as the alternative. I really want the ham to get playoffs and just lose, don't want them going up.
Sky probably love them because Gold and Sullivan are always good for a quote and the poor sky journo doesn't have to leave London. It would be so great to see Southampton get promoted and us beat West Ham - can you imagine that scenario with the Sky anchor man, speechless and floundering around along with the experts. Living in the North West, would love to see Blackpool get promoted through the play-offs - as Holloway is always great for a quote on local TV, and it's obvious that Lucy Meacock (Granada Reports anchorwoman) and the team are biased towards him.
