I would hope we may just sneak a draw, but having "sorted the imbalance" it may be he could just have one last little experiment before settling down to a few easier fixtures, and try a couple others?

my team would be THE SAME 16 AS SATURDAY'S...

Playing ADDY UP MORE does give the opposing defence more to worry about, could even say play 4- 4 -2, same starters

A draw yep with west ham's free style of football if we hold firm at the back...

very strong team and there will be a lot of hoofball, this tactic my be easier for Mcgivern, as hes quite a strong lad, not the quickest, but i bet he can hold his own

one thing that does worry me, when ever arsenal play a team like, stoke, Blackburn etc, they struggle because of lightweight players, and lets face it upfront on saturday we had none so im expecting a 4-4-2 tonight with stead and maynard up front addy killa elliott cisse in midfield and skuse fontaine nyatanga mcgivern at the back

Personally I think DM should stick to the same side and tactics as Barnsley. Let's go to Upton Park and be positive. If we go there and play for a draw inevitably we will lose. I hate teams who play for a point away to better quality teams because they always seem to lose. Let's take the Hammers by surprise. We have more pace in our team and a bit more confidence after Saturday. Maybe attack is our best form of defence at the moment anyway until DM secures defensive reinforcements? After all 4-3-3 can be both attacking and defensive. That's why a lot of the big teams now play this formation.

Agreed Ashton Matt - we simply are strong or stingy enough at the back to play for a draw. Our goal difference is so poor right now that it's doubtful that this will be the means to stay up this year if it comes to being level on points with other teams around us. Let's go out and attack them.

2nd game in a row we've started brightly. Coincidence? :bandit:
