The defence for the team I picked is decent enough but the attack is pretty awful, unless we are willing to risk some first team players, we have no other choices.

isn't fabianski injured? i think viviano may play this one.
the defense is decent enough, but they'll struggle to create and score if Brom put out the majority of their first team.

Not sure who else we can play up front to be honest. Is Sanogo still injured ?

Looks like it, was not on the bench for the Stoke. Not a major problem, as we have Viviano ready to make his debut.

Maybe we can play Walcott through the middle is he manages to recover that injury in time?

I'd rather Bendy in the middle and Theo out wide. The style that has been played thus far this year has been succeeding with a bigger frontman, and Bendy rather than Theo is the natural one to take up this position.
Plus Theo out wide will push the defense back as usual and give space in midfield - something which they may require if it's a more inexperienced starting 11.

I wouldn't play Sagna and think he is one of the most important ones to rest as hes playing a lot and can cover 2 positions. Our squad is so thin I don't think we can risk losing a player whoi can cover 2 positions. Id play Kos probably or maybe Mert as it would mean that Sagna is still available to cover RB and CB if needed, but if Sagna got injured we wouldn't have a spare RB and would have to rely on Flamini and Ramsey.

    Sagna needs a rest IMO.
    I'd go with
    Vivi
    Jenkinson Mert Verm Monreal
    Arteta Frimpong
    Eisfeld
    Gnabry/Theo B23 Ryo

    Bench:
Chez/Fab (if fit), Kos, Flamini, Rambo, Theo/Gnabry, Ozil, Giroud

It isn't the best lineup and if Westbrom pick near to a full side, they should beat us. Maybe Wenger will risk playing a couple of first teamers, but this is very risky as we are already scraping the barrel for front line players. I would at least play Wilshere and Rosicky in that lineup. I wouldn't risk Walcott and probably go with Bendy, which is worrying as the man has hardly played a game for ages. This is the reason why you should have a good squad!

Gordon Bennett, its hard to keep up with our injuries. Wilshere really has to play otherwise our midfield will be too weak.

Mertesacker got a game off with his stomach bug a while back; he can play. Arteta is coming back, and Flamini can get a rest next game. Ozil needs game-time to fit into the team.

    Viviano
    Jenkinson-Mertesacker-Vermaelen-Monreal
    Arteta-Flamini
    Ozil
    Gnabry-Bendtner-Ryo

Agree with the lineup except Ozil. He's our main player and should be rested for the league game, we simply cant afford him to be injured in a less important game, especially as Cazorla is still out. Wilshere needs game time to get back into form and he would be my pick.

On a side note, I always assumed that the 'G' in 'Gnabry' was silent but the commentator at the weekend pronounced it "Gernabry." Is this the correct pronunciation?

Ozil needs games, can't wrap him up in cotton wool. He has to play.
