Totally agree. It is dire to watch, I don't envy the enjoyment that supporters of Newcastle, Everton etc get from watching their team play in a league which they know they have little chance of winning and are just hoping to survive at the end of the season for financial purposes only.
When watching any premier league game, I am always rooting for the underdog to cause an upset, is that wrong?
It's interesting as, as a Rangers fan you want to be competitive and maybe make the play offs this year, however I have little desire of watching Rangers in the Premier league, either losing to top teams or playing average teams which we may or may not win for a mid table season. Yes it's exciting being promoted but ultimately the Championship is so much more interesting, as was league 1 when we had that pleasure

I agree with all of the last few posts especially a Yorkshire's. I really want us to do well but the prospect of following my team in Prem does not excite me in the least.
I can't watch the Premier league because of VAR and proud to I haven't seen a match for 18 months and don't miss it.

Couldn't tell you the last time I watched MotD, let alone a live Prem league game. I'm not invested in it, as we're not there, and really am only interested in who is getting relegated as that's who we'll be playing against the following season.

Of course, every club should strive for promotion, and the wealth that being up there brings is welcome, but the experiences of our last two ventures haven't been pleasant. The joy of being competetive in the league we're in at the moment is a world away from the knowledge that we'd probably be humbled most weekends in the EPL.

I'd far far prefer to see us play better footballing sides at the top level. Cant understand why anyone wants us to play the likes of Walll, WBA, Cardiff etc all the time.Whats more we have drawn with Leicester and beaten Man U and Everton already this season, Bring on the PL.

Yes he missed some opportunities against Bristol but not from standing 2 yards out without the keeper there ! Chair shoots far too often without getting his head up to see if there's anyone better placed. Chair's primary job is to supply tge chances for the strikers and Dykes is too finish those chances. Chair didn't get his head up once, there was no other thought in his head but to shoot, it happens too often. 2-0 and the game would've been dead

Good example of a post that didnt age well in the short term <laugh>

League One football was a lump kicking, Butlins of Bognor Regis talent show. I still have nightmares about it. The ground was mostly empty. Compare that with the night we came back to beat Liverpool through pure bloody determination.
