Nice to not be part of that. A few teams will do well by making changes but I'm pleased we seem more stable than we have been over recent years. Back Gus and Lee in January Ellis.
Feel a bit sorry for irvine, not much has gone for him TBH, 2nd goal the other day just about summed it up, going well wide bounces off the same guy twice and deflected in
he seems like a very decent bloke but has had the aura of a beaten man ever since he took that job. another good coach, not so good manager.
Everyone knew he was a terrible appointment like Warnock at Palace. What do these chairmen expect? Talk of Pulis but they have similar set up to Palace so he'd be a hypocrite if he went there. Im sure Sherwood said no in the summer so why take it now? Clarke, Mel and Irving suggests they just want a cheap appointment who'll keep them in the league. Who'll go there?

Ex-Spurs manager Sherwood, 45, was interviewed for the West Brom manager's job before Irvine was appointed in June 2014 to replace Spaniard Pepe Mel. Pulis, 56, guided Crystal Palace to Premier League safety last season before leaving that role in August.
