I think he's spot-on. Wes has been outstanding for us since the day he walked through the door. Brilliant captain as well who leads on the pitch. The guy has almost single-handedly repaired our defence. The best defender we've had since Matty Elliott left.
They're both undoubtedly brilliant defenders and the opinion of Leicester fans will almost always prefer Wes Morgan and Hull fans will always prefer Chester. The thing is, Pearson was singing Chester's praise when he was our manager, and I wonder what his opinion would be should Chester have been a Leicester defender alongside Morgan? Hmmm...
I bet we did have a go at signing Chester in the summer, would have been happy if he had come over at the time, would have got a starting place, but haveto praise Moore and St Ledger for doing the business alongside Wes for us sofar this season.

We're only agreeing with what we are seeing. And yes, must be an uneducated view seeming we are sitting second atm (sorry third, Palace are winning) and we have let in the joint 2nd least goals this season. A message to all Leicester fans, we know nothing and should stop praising our defence for doing such a stellar job
To be fair, I always used to say to my Forest supporting mates that Morgan was one of the best in this league when he was with them. I was absolutely delighted when we signed him. It's funny isn't it, we're accused by other fans all the time of trying to buy our way out of the league, but when we have the audacity of claiming we have some of the best players, we get stick for that too. Even though we're top of the league. You can't win.
Apart from Wes' excellent defending and brilliant leadership, he very very rarely gives the ball, I would say never but there was one loose pass against Bristol City and let's not forget his runs! He is absolute quality! Can't compare him to Chester because we don't see him playing every week but I know that I am extremely happy with Wes and he is a City legend in the making!!
