Wow....an accountant who can't count to go with a manager who can't manage & payers who can't play. Exciting times ahead!!
In 20 years time I expect there will be 40,000 people who will claim to have been at the Blackpool match. Just like there are probably 20,000 people who say they were there when we really were *"^$ at the bottom of division four. Sorry, just me rambling..........
I was there barry and I fking loved it win or lose>>>>>>>>>im not there anymore tho...............people have theyre own reasons why they didn't(4th division) or don't bother going anymore(present day).........ive got lots of issues with the game itself and lots of it has nothing 2do with Cardiff city as a club if im honest......the threat of tan pretty much finished me with the game tho and ive no desire from what ive been reading on here, with slade still in charge of hanging out the stockings on the wall 2 get back involved. fk me in thy old 3rd and 4th divisions we would be fiddling the attendance figures the other way around .....how times change init.

So true Aber. There was always a cash only gate or 2 which didn't record the numbers passing through. And that applied to most grounds.
brilliant days bfb>>>>>grown men with full beards getting in for child prices>>>>no wonder we (the club) didn't make any money in them days init .......that and the usual break in after big cup games
And not even real beards. Identity disguised to protect the guilty!!!!! They said there were break ins - directors as big a crooks as some fans - keep the cash and send in an insurance claim!!! Not much change now really.
Temple, I went to Bangkok Glass stadium last night. It was pretty awesome. The football was, well, umm, not exactly premiership but the atmosphere was fantastic. Probably mid-league 1 standard but entertaining enough. Loved it when the players stayed on the pitch and were chatting with the fans. I was a bit perplexed when I couldn't take my water onto the stand but was able to take my beer? Was a good night and will go again. Oh, a deserved home win for the rabbits as well. 1-0 on the night.
Hey Taff, I watch Police United when they play at home. Police United are probably high League 2 standard at the moment Even though we have a small support section in such a large stadium, it does get noisy! Love the drums and the singing. At the end of the game the whole team walks over to the fence to stand in front of the supporters who sing a song thanking the players for their efforts. The players stand and listen respectfully and then shake hands with supporters over the fence. THAT must make you feel pretty bad if you didn't do much that game!! You were lucky! I am not allowed to take beer in!
