Were We Ripped off by Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo ?

    I was watching the highlights of Cristiano Ronaldo's latest game for Real Madrid and he scored his 100th league for Real madrid in 92 games, that's inclredible for the rpice he went for at the time. To answer the question in the title of my thread in a way we were, because we probably should've got at least £100 million pounds for him and he would've been worth it but that £80 million we got for him seems like a bargain.

    80 million is a hell of alot of money, so I'd say we got a fair price:biggrin:

    £80m at the time was unheard of, but in this day and age with people like Carroll going for £35m, £80m seems unheard of.
