over the 2 legs our defense looked and midfield were bad especially in the first leg, we need our defense to be strong in the last 10 PL games if we are to win our 20th league, if only Vidic wasn't injured, our defense would look far more stronger because Vidic is the best defender in the league without any doubt, i miss his and Ferdinand's partnership, they know each other and our defense looked much more stronger and less sloppier when Vidic and Ferdinand plays together.

I know Evans has done great in recent games. He looks more comfortable when Ferdinand plays alongside him.

We're starting to miss Fletcher in midfield too, we miss his work rate, we miss a mid like him running tirelessly chasing the ball and breaking up plays and he can attack aswell, Anderson is similar to him but he's out for a while now

We've missed Vidic since he first got hurt. Not to sure about missing Fletcher as he's been out for over year barring that small stint he had back in October. Not sure why you think Anderson and Fletcher are similar players.

We've been **** in Europe all season with or without Vidic.

We've been missing both players since they got injured / ill respectively.

I can't remember the last time we conceded three goals in competitive games on six separate occasions during the same season, and all of those times came without Vidic this season.

All this talk about our midfield being average has only happened since Fletcher got ill in late 2010. His running and energy created so much space and time for our other midfielders.

I'm impressed we're still anywhere near the top of the league without those two.

    This <ok>

United missed Vidic more than anyone else. In Europe any decent team had a run on our defence. That defence was simply sh*t. But in the premiership we are coping...just!

We have missed Vidicon and he has been a loss to the team. Fletcher has also been missed and his work rate in midfield is one of his best attributes.
