https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/how-league-one-predicted-finish-3766887 I totally believe this.
We've got 20 games left so 60 points to play for. these are saying we'll finish second with 76 points which is 35 more than we have now. so by my reckoning they think we're going to loose 8 games out of 20 which if we can carry on with this current run of form is too many imo. on current form can see us finishing with 80+which is us getting 40+ points out of those 20 games which is doable but only time will tell.
Stole my thunder here, I was just about to post a link to the website that article is quoting when I saw you'd beaten me to it. I always find predictors interesting to keep an eye on and the one stated in there uses a whole lot of data to come up with theirs. Call me sad, but I've got my own little points per game table going which I update each week when I should be doing work and I enjoy seeing us climbing up the table slowly as others drop (Wycombe).
Worst case scenario is it could be Wembley again, I'd feel a lot better if the final was over home and away legs, or somewhere in the North for a change.
we have 19 games left 9 home 10 away , we might lose 3 and the key games are Oxford, Coventry and Rotherham all away, Ipswich at home but a team could put a great run together between now and may, no team has done that like Luton last season, Wycombe might not finish in the top 6, i say 80 points tops for promotion.
We have 5-6 hard games out of our 19 remaining. I think it's going to be extremely tight, and might even go to the last game of the season. I'm confident of playoffs, but I think the major slip ups before Christmas will come back to haunt us at the end.
4 points clear of second is my guess and I’m never optimistic about us. Must be all this chocolate I’m eating or something...
I like how we've skidded into the second spot on goal difference. Makes it look more Sunderland, if you like This year League One has some particularly ****e teams playing horrendous football. Anything could happen tbh.
I think we will go up along with, unfortunately, Coventry. We had a blip last night but maybe some tired legs. I can still see SAFC acquiring a lot of points between now and the end of the season.
