It sounds like it's a fair way off, but at least there is now a declared intention to open a City museum at the KC: http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2333012,00.html
True Plum's, as we already have a fully built Stadium!! But it will probably take a bit of time to get all the exhibits amassed and installed in the area set aside for them!!
Thats what I meant, shouldn't take long to build the museum. Surely even you read into that one? Its not like there are going to many exhibits what with your history, eh?
There's a life size picture of a Leicester fan getting the **** kicked out him. At least there will be soon.
We already have a Boothferry Park museum. It's called Boothferry Legend's house! You can't miss it, it's the one that'll probably soon have 6 floodlights around it.
Nor anything as funny as internet trolls seeking attention. Swiftly moving on and ignoring that tool, there's a suggesting the first item would be controversial, any idea why? I'd wear that now!
A couple of months ago, the club asked for information about the shirt, as they knew absolutely nothing about it. It's only controversial, as several people suggested it wasn't a City shirt at all. They think it's from the 1800's, before we were a league club, but no-one seems to know for sure(I can't remember the exact details, but someone suggested it was a shirt worn in a cup game in 1880 something, by a team with Hull in their name, but not Hull City).
There is a description on the Flickr page - The shirt is believed to be from an early version of the club; Hull Town, which later became Hull City AFC, which seems quite likely considering Hull gained city status in 1897. The gap between the two clubs may have been due to players going off to the Boer War, perhaps?
An email I sent to the club in January: I'm not sure if this has been passed on to you already, but the shirt has generated some debate on the message boards and there's been a suggestion that it might might pre date Hull City and be the kit of Hull Town, who competed in the FA Cup. We can find only two confirmed fixtures of Hull Town in the FA Cup records: 3/11/1883 1st Rd Hull Town 1-3 Grimsby Town 1/11/1884 1st Rd Hull Town 1-5 Lincoln City
