Well according to Andy Stockhausen on twitter when he was talking to SOD the other day only trouble is its suppose to be a CB, I said to him at the time that we should be looking to bring another striker in. I was proved right today. I don't class JET as a striker more of a CAM type player. So that leaves us with Baldock, Taylor and Harewood upfront with the unexperienced Burns just behind...... You could see today that we so badly need another striker. If Baldock and JET don't score we don't score and we don't win! We should of beat this very very poor sheff utd team. We can't keep blaming it on bad luck because we don't do ourselves any favours by not looking likely to score. So im praying SOD seen this today and decides, **** the CB's (so long as we keep Osborne) we need another ****ing striker. I haven't got any names that spring to mind but surely there is a striker out there who we could bring in. Even if its a 19 year old premier league striker, we just need someone else to fall back on when our Strikers aren't scoring. Also why did we bring McLaughlin in on loan? Never plays....

We could bring in Ronaldo, it wouldn't make any difference. Yesterday, the idiot SOD played into Clough's hands. 2mph across the back 3 or 4 times allowing the worst side I've seen at AG this season regroup in their own half. Sheffield United were awful yesterday, yet won in a canter.
Yes, the lack of movement when we had the ball was frightening. It's all right playing this possession stuff, but if there is no movement up front or from midfield players then it goes nowhere - just sideways between the back 4 I sat there thinking someone like Jon Stead would make a difference - he runs the channels etc which in turn would create a bit of space. What we did yesterday let (as you say) the worst side I've seen this year win a game in which they set their stall out for a point
Sheffield Utd by far the worst team seen at the Gate for a long time, Iam not one for giving up but our performance yesterday was appaling, I think we are going down for sure.
I agree, can't blame the strikers other than Baldock not taking his chance.They need supply not a hoofed ball. I have been supportive of SOD so far but today it looked like he set up not to lose the game and, in the Atyeo, we could almost see the sucker punch coming. The constant sideways, backwards and missed passing is so frustrating. What really annoys me is that 6 times out of 10 under little or no pressure we seem incapable of laying a pass into the path of an oncoming player, the number of times that player has to stop, or stop and turn around to receive the ball is unbelievable. I try not to mention him but my mate "Halfway Line" in the Atyeo was apoplectic at times when we have no-one on the halfwayline at set pieces an therefore no quick outlet and watching the majority of the team move over to one side of the pitch when the keeper is about to kick the ball is almost like watching a junior team? Also substitutions were too late, if Marlon is going to make a difference than give him more time, also had a wide player on the bench why not start with him? OK so rant over Orient next??!! Oh s***. Whoops did I mention how bad the ref was, inconsistent use of advantage, missing of clear fouls (and a possible penalty and goal) and just general breaking up of the play. No excuse for a ****e performance though.
Unfortunately we are in Divi 1 AND THE REF.S GO WITH THE DIVISION, like a football team they have to build there promotion to the higher leagues? What is it at HOME we seem to recoil into our shadows and shells...... Are the players fearful they may be the next Lee Fontz or Kilks? and think if they have a quiet game they may go un noticed? We certainly need to get scoring, WITHOUT GOALS WE WILL NEVER WIN ! COME ON YOU REDZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
