Anyone want to talk about that rather than homeless people and politics? Sorry, but getting a bit pissed off with all this constant Cardiff/Swansea crap.
Got us down for a 2-1 win but it's going to be tough. Pound to a pinch of salt noone will put one past us
We need a few changes. My pick. Heaton Darcy, Huds, Turner, Taylor Cowie, Gunnar, Whitts, Vuckic, Lawrence Miller
Rhondda - we seem to have lost a bit of faith in Super Kev lately, and your pick highlights that. Not so sure myself. Unless he needs a rest, I'd still pick him over Darcy. Your middle of the park looks pretty strong, but it would be a shame for young Mason if he didn't get the nod at the expense of Vuckic.
Sparkey, It was with my heart in my mouth that I picked Darcy, Super Kev has not been his usual self since his injury, that said I don't think Darcy can give us the same threat attacking but I think McNaughton needs a rest. As for Mason, I'm a big fan of his and would like to see him come on with 20 mins left, running against tired defenders. With all these games this month we'll need everyone to contribute.
Lose this one and you might as well ask for a kiss when leaving town . Don't you usually get a kiss when you get screwed . A Cardiff " Waterloo " of sorts today I'm afraid , if the points from this game fall by the way ..
ITIWRAN, Like most Cardiff fans I was chuffed when Earnie signed and I thought he could have done a job for us. It seems that Malky is not a fan and talk is he could spend his last few years playing in the USA. EDIT But with the moose hunter in the same continent, if I was him I'd stay here
Earnie and Rudy would work up front, but don't see him partnering anyone else. I think a couple are running on empty and Kev might be one of them, as is Miller. Mason did well as a stand in as a lone striker some time back so may be worth a punt just for Miller to have some down time. I'd be happy with Rhondda's pick, or with Mason in for Miller. Or even Ralls for Vuckic. Saying no one will bother us is being a bit optomistic ITIWRAN!
Unfortunately Earnie coming back has turned out (so far) the same as Koumas returning, great crowd pleaser when it was announced but ultimately a failure (differing reasons). As they say, you should never go back. Hope Earnie gets a good deal in the US should he go there.
Jumping jacks out japed by a jolly joker. Oops sorry Spark. I can't honestly say I haven't heard anyone mention resting The Don this season and yet he has made more appearances in the Championship than any other Championship player.Say's a lot about the guy's stamina.
Nice to have a sensible thread Sparkey. Rightly or wrongly, and it hurts me to say so, but I have to agree with Breezey on this being our Waterloo. Do well and it could reignite our season but all form pointers are against that. I would have Darcy in for Kev also. Loss of attacking threat yes, although Kev hasn't done much of that lately, but a more solid defence with Darcy as long as he isn't allowed time to think when in possession. Heaton for Marshall, could be as discussed earlier this week. I think Joe Mason looked very "leggy" on Sunday and he has been worked very hard for a youngster so I would have him on the bench with Lawrence, if fit, playing inside and Conway (who must be chomping at the bit due to lack of recent games - why didn't Malky use him on Sunday?????) wide left. I would still have Millar upfront. What news on McPhail's health? It is worrying that there has been no sign of him for 3/4 weeks and we are more settled with him just in front of the back four and Whitts pushing forward. Good luck and safe trip to all those travelling. A bit too far for me for a mid week game. Would definitely have gone on a Saturday. To those going, if you drop any money kick it into the corner and keep your back to the wall before bending down to pick it up and at all times..............................keep your 'and on your 'alfpenny!!!!
Funilly enough, I'd heard Earnie was going to Brighton on loan as part of the Noone offer, but Poyet (or his directors) scuppered the deal. Hope we get the best of the deal tonight and Earnie outscores Herman.
ITI Hasn't Whitts played the same number of games as Don and not been subbed? Don was subbed once I recall. That being the case surely Whitts has moist minutes?
Sorry, that was a typo - should have been most minutes but in light of tonight's opponents perhaps moist is more appropriate?
