Were all going on a Summer Holiday!!!

The football season is over and two/three months of boredom has set in. A little bit of light hearted relief. Whats everyones plans over the summer/close season.

My summer begins 17/06/11 when I go to Sidari,Corfu,1 week,All Inclusive with the missus and our mates. Thats followed by T in the park in July, The line up ain't the greatest but its TITP which means messy drunken carnage regardless of the music and acts.

Football wise my summer won't consist of much, not wasting my money on getting down to pointless friendlies. A few games of fivez each week will be my football fix over the summer (oh,keeping up with SSN fot transfer banter too)

Taking a few long weekends is about it for holidays.

I usually save a shed load of days to take most of December off so I can avoid trying to get into work with frozen points, cancelled trains and the usual rubbish associated with trains and freezing cold weather.

 

Working all summer with no football and only cricket to entertain me. I have a week off in which I might go to Glasgow for a couple of days.

Don't over-do the Bucky Wine at TITP!

 

A few bottles of Buckfast are part of any good Scotsman's TITP staple diet!!!! lol

 

And the Christmas shopping crowds.

 

The shop I used to live above in Middlesbrough sold it. Lethal stuff.

Off to Puerto Cabopino (near Marbella) with family for last two weeks in August. Lazy days by the pool, happy hour between 5pm-7pm in beach bar, food in one of the restaurants in the marina, then up to the square to finish the night off sitting ouside the Shebeen Irish bar, supping Cruzcampo, till about midnight or so.

Repeat the next day...and the next.. and the next...etc. Don't even hire a car any more, though usually fit in one game of golfat Cabopino GC, with the owner of the Shebeen, Brendan.

 

Its a bit.....eh.......potent to say the least. Partial to a bottle every now and again though!!!! p.s. A lot of people think its jakies that drink Buckfast,I got a bottle 2 weeks ago and it was £8, U can get £3 bottles of "civilised" wine for that in the supermarket!!!

 

Unfortunately we didn't. But we did have Pissy Kenny, the pissing tramp who used to piss on our front door, so that more than makes up for it. He once told me he was "being good" and had only had "12 cans of Special Brew". The worst part is that he used to leave his cans outside in the sun, so not only was it Special Brew, it would be warm as piss. Still makes me feel sick thinking about it.

 

Sounds bliss Munstertoon,will you be biggin it up with the TOWIE crew??? lol

As dumb and annoying as they are, I wouldn't mind floating around (amongst other things) on top of most of them!!!

 

So while your rockin it to Biffy a will have to put up with Beyonce!!!! Jesus!!!! (Need to mind and pack the Buckfast!!)

 

Quick warning for you when watching Beyonce with the missus in tow.

Under no circumstances move the binoculars up and down to her 'rhythm' as the missus then knows exactly what you're enjoying with the big smile on your face.

A week in Ibiza for me from end of June with the missus, plenty of clubbing, drinking, sun, sea, sand and seeeriously overpriced bottled water. Then it's Cork in July for me mate's stag weekend (the third one this year) closely followed by my mates wedding (from the previous Bristol stag do) where I'm best man. Me and me mates are considering doing the Otley Run in Leeds again in September dressed as 90's WWF wrestlers.

Nothing else really after that but may go back to India in November.

 

My mate was in Ibiza last year AP, he was watching Tiesto and some massive bouncer confiscated his video camera. When he went to get it back at the end there was a huge queue. Says the guy must have confiscated a good 100 camera and was charging 10euros to have the pleasure of giving you your camera back. He would do well on the Apprentice. lol
