Ballix to what might have been .. lets celebrate what has happened

 

Second consecutive top 5 finish, 2nd highest PL points total and second consecutive European competition qualification. In a season where the team was decimated by injuries.

And we won the FA CUP

 

It may have been a disappointing end to the season (in the league) due to Chelsea losing and us not winning the last game, but I'd like to meet just 1 Leicester fan who wouldn't have taken winning the FA Cup and finishing 5th in the league, if that was offered to them at the start of the season.

Hopefully all the "big" names will stay and we add 3 or 4 quality players to the squad for next season.

 

Looking forward to getting JJ and Barnes back on that left side and back to their pre-injury form. We've really missed that partnership. Don't know what that will do to the Vardy and Iheanacho combination.

Not a great end to the season, though it would be fair to say you shouldn't be in the top 4 if your shipping 11 goals in your last 4 games.

Cup has way more importance for the history of the club, more points than last season, maybe a small improvement, but still an improvement none the less, lets give the Europa league a good shot this year, think we have a chance of winning it.

Although disappointing, its looking like a good summer already.

Pereira and Maddison don't have any internationals to worry about and can get their match fitness back, Barnes and JJ hopefully returning soon/soon after next season has started, will be like having 3 new players and Maddison out to prove Southgate wrong ahead of the world cup.

 

Maddison needs to stop going to ground under the slightest contact and boss the game more like Mount and Grealish, Danny Drinkwater must be closer to an England call-up than Maddison.
