Grayson has been quoted as ready to sign a player that was involved in agame tonight and as long as he doesnt have any injuries he will sign tomorrow morning. It obviosly has been heavily linked that danny pugh will be the one to sign.

If it is Pugh (which is most likely is) then i dont see this working out for either party but if im wrong i'll be the first to say so

Nunez nor Keogh are any use on the wing, how we missed Gradels pace and runs last night :(

White can't defend so who knows, for this division certainly Pugh LB and White LM overlapping each other might be an improvement.

The only worry is White LB or LM it is debatable? Many say LM and I would have to agree... When you read opinions regarding Pugh it seems to be that the majority feel that he is also a LM over LB

At the start of the season, White was supposed to be a LM but Gradel would always have started. LB was the problem area & Parker was supposed to fill that, but he got injured again. So White had to cover. He's done okay. But getting Pugh in would make some sense. Time will tell.

Anyone know how Varynin did last night?

I wouldnt trust pugh at left back. Hes an average LM and white isnt good enough. White just gets pushed of the ball and from looking at the manure game. He doesnt attack defenders the way he should to deserve to play in a forward role. This is not the answer for me. Does anyone else think that playing howson at right mid with snoddy at left or someone else (nunez or mccormack) until snoddy gets back on form with obviously clayton and brown or vayrynen in the middle.

And also a side note. I didnt see the game but how was taylor, did he look like a comfortable left back? i would still think its too early for him even if he did really well but he could be one for the future... hopefully

Vayrynen did ok when he first came on, showed hunger but after about 10mins that just sorta worn off and he didnt do anything after that. I think forsell did ok though

Never really had much of a chance to get going, Forrsell came on and went straight into a challenge with his elbow and was lucky to escape a booking. If you had to pick two players out McCormack and Clayton... McCormack not for any chances but he was able to pick out a simple pass and hold on to the ball, something the rest didn't do too much of.

White ran at players with the ball, that was the problem, ran at them rather than around them then fell over, O'Dea was poor, Lees is no way a right back after yesterdays showing and Snodgrass was a massive disappointment

I'll be honest ellandback mate-i only remember him from a few years ago, and i wasn't impressed, but in fairness, he's had loads of experience since then, and hasnt played for the worst teams in the world, so he could prove to be decent. i have my doubts tho...

I recall him being fairly lively down the left. Hopefully his main role will be as a defensive LB, rather than one who spends too much time pushing on. Could be an interesting watching him & white linking up.

Hopefully this will mean we are no longer playing Nunez or Keogh on the left. Even though he's not the ideal signing, we don't have a left winger at all. I'd be happy with him playing leftback and White left wing or vice versa.

Probably furiously trying to knock a tenner off the wage subsidy Stoke have demanded we pay. 'More money to save for Simon's pot', they will exclaim after hours of frantically-wrought negotiations.

i dont think ipswich actually want to sign these players, rather they just hear leeds are interesting and just decide to double their wage or something if they sign for them
