We're a perfect Fitz for the Prem Published: Today Add a comment Add a comment (0) FITZ HALL insists QPR should have nothing to fear when they return to the top flight after a 15-year absence. Neil Warnock guided Rangers to the Championship title last season and looks set to give those players who helped secure promotion a crack at the Premier League. And Hall, who played in the top tier for Southampton, Crystal Palace and Wigan, sees no reason why Warnock's men cannot hold their own next term. The 30-year-old centre-back said: "We can do well next season. The gap between the Premier League and the Championship is definitely closing. "The sides that were promoted last season all did well and even though Blackpool got relegated, they had a flying start and surprised a few people. "I don't think many people gave them that much hope but for them to go to the last game of the season and still be in with a shot of staying up certainly does. "If that's anything to go by then we'll definitely fancy our chances." Hall added: "We have got experience but I think it helps when you have got young players who haven't played in the league before because they're not scared of anything. "They don't know what to expect and they've not been there. "A lot of people also want to prove themselves and I think that will help as well." You see this line Andy? ================= "Neil Warnock guided Rangers to the Championship title last season and looks set to give those players who helped secure promotion a crack at the Premier League." ================== He's going to have to!
More waffle, this time from One Size, even boasting about how he loves playing against Arsenal and scoring own goals against them. In one way I wouldn't pay any attention to this stuff as the Club need to keep the website ticking over and pull a few of the lads in for an interview. Most players will give the same answers, realistic or not. But on the other hand it would be nice to hear one or two of the senior players speak out like Taarabt and give a more sensible assessment of where we are; i.e no chance with the current squad.
You will only ever get a positive article or a "no comment" from any club run website, i for one have never read a negative article on ANY team website as it would be self depreciating. I would imagine that all the players will be up for the new season and that his excitement is genuine.
Seems like a few of the team have drifted back to the training ground early. These are the ones who are giving the interviews. What's the betting those who came back early are knackered by November!
