so as wenger kicks out a fuss about a manager talking about one of his players and his desire to sign him, lets think back a couple of months and remember the comments he made regarding the possibility of signing alex oxlade chamberlain. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...uthampton-winger-Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain.html now i'm not one to judge but doesn't that seem very similar to what mancini has said and done. did his ethics desert him, or is he just a hypocritical child of a manger. discuss
mancini has said that he wants to sign him by the end of the month, even though wenger has said hes not for sale to anyone with alex the kid he is for sale but for the right price oh and you say your not one judge but even writing this thread and comparing different matters is judging
chamberlain is not for sale, both manager and chairman have said that. and the i'm not one to judge was a bit of sarcasm
well how come southampton manager has said to put up or shut up 12mil is his price and thats been said loads of times even in january so even though he might not be on the transfer list doesnt mean hes not for sale
this link begs to differ http://www.givemefootball.com/league-one/st-marys-is-best-place-for-my-boy-says-mark-chambe
St Mary’s is best place for my boy, says Mark Chamberlain Nigel Adkins agrees and tells Arsene Wenger ‘Alex is not for sale’ By Mark Shail December 07, 2010 from the top of that page, notice it says December 07, 2010 got anything newer?????????????? oh btw wenger tried to sign him on last day of january window but only offered like 6m and got told 12mil, so so in 1 month 24 days he went from not for sale to for sale Edit: mark chamberlain did say in january that arsenal is the best place for his son
he has also said similar things on the OS, and if a ridiculous bid came in for him we would probably sell, but thats the same with nasri, if a ridiculous bid came him wenger would sell
