I think the lack of reaction shows most Gooners never believed he'd even go. Always nice to hear it from the man himself though.

Read the full transcript of his interview to L'Equipe, he says it all there. What a great man.

Damn, i was hoping he'd quit, and take up gardening. just as long as he stays away from Arsenal, i would be happy. Oh, well, here come another few trophyless seasons.

  7. I was hoping Gazidis, the board and our silent majority shareholder would quit my friend ;) IMHO they are as much if not more to blame for our trophy-free era.

Why is our "silent majority shareholder" to blame for our "trophy-free era" ?

I was close to putting a MEH, but I think this entire episode has acted like a bit of a wake up call to Wenger and the boys, I can't see Wenger falling back into his stupid project again, I think he knows that, how football has changed and the direction it is going in in the past few years, relying on developing players will not work.

I think this was the wake up call that Arsenal football club needed, a few cages got rattled, people **** their pants, a revolution was on the way, a crisis was almost in full flow. Now we need to keep on our toes because everyone else is moving on, we need to stay ahead of the game.
