Good news by me and everyone involved at the club. Just leaves the boo boys to call for Wenger's head. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15804105.stm
I think the lack of reaction shows most Gooners never believed he'd even go. Always nice to hear it from the man himself though.
Damn, i was hoping he'd quit, and take up gardening. just as long as he stays away from Arsenal, i would be happy. Oh, well, here come another few trophyless seasons.
I was hoping Gazidis, the board and our silent majority shareholder would quit my friend IMHO they are as much if not more to blame for our trophy-free era.
I was close to putting a MEH, but I think this entire episode has acted like a bit of a wake up call to Wenger and the boys, I can't see Wenger falling back into his stupid project again, I think he knows that, how football has changed and the direction it is going in in the past few years, relying on developing players will not work. I think this was the wake up call that Arsenal football club needed, a few cages got rattled, people **** their pants, a revolution was on the way, a crisis was almost in full flow. Now we need to keep on our toes because everyone else is moving on, we need to stay ahead of the game.
and i thought the bbc had him lined up to read the football results to replace tim gudgin retired at 81. that would keep arsene in a job foy years and he could work 5 days a week for the arsenal
