Seems a bit unfair, what's wrong with French?

It's inappropriate for football. More appropriate for wine-tasting, love-poetry and surrendering large conflicts.

Why do the French have trees along the sides of their roads?

So the Germans can march in the shade.

I saw a French Army rifle advertised on eBay the other day -- the description was: 'Never shot. Dropped once.'"

Q: How do you confuse a French Soldier?
A: Give him a rifle and ask him to shoot it.

It is a bit of of a joke.

No offene to your lot but it took less than 12 hours for Uefa to charge both Arsene and Nasri for having a go at the ref, yet took the FA over a week to charge Fergie after his ref rant, even though it was on SKY after the match.

    Mind bottling isn't it.

You can't really blame Fergie or Wenger/Nasri. Respecting the referee is great in theory but surely there has to be a breaking point? A line that refs cannot cross and still expect, nay demand respect as they do? They are just getting so bad! How bad can they get and still hope for people to be nice to them? If they came out on the field naked, wearing only clown makeup and clown shoes, should they still be respected? What about if they run around blindfolded? Or insist on speaking only in Latin? How much can they get away with and still be protected? Something needs to be done.
