Looks like we could get the green light for a reduced capacity Wembley capped at 50800 for most matches. Don't know whether we could apply for 90k capacity for big games. When you see the scale of the redevelopment I'm not surprised though. I didn't realise till today the extent of what is being done.
Yeah they are having to dig into the ground and make the pitch below ground level, its a pretty big, and expensive, under taking. Should be awesome when complete though.

That would explain the massive cost of the new stadium. Any building work associated with digging down is phenomenally expensive, even more so in the past couple of years. HIAG would probably disagree...
