Dont want to get ahead of myself here and I am not for one minute disrespecting either Brighton & Hull but have SAFC thought what the ticket allocation would be for a Wembley semi Final and more importantly how would they be distributed if we got thru the next game?

Likewise and going even further ahead what would it be for a Wembley Final?

For a semi final I reckon it will be close on a 40,000 allocation. For an FA Cup final it is usually about 25,000.

    Surely no neutrals want semi-final
Tickets?! The semi allocation should be around 35000, but who's to say safc won't just donate the excess 10,000 to their commercial partners?!

I thought they just split the stadium for the semi finals but then it will be around 26,000 for the final. All the other tickets go to the hangers on's and mainly the rip off merchant touts.

Then the authorities wonder why no ****er gives a ****e about the competition these days. Fans could attend every cup game and yet still miss out on a ticket for the final. Its a disgrace.

This has always been the case with the FA Cup though..Our allocation in 1973 was only about 25,000 or so if my memory serves me correctly..

Last year Wigan and milwall got 31,800 each and City & Chelsea got 25000 each for the semis

Its a running sore RAW that opens up every year with all fans. Back in 73 there wasn't the money there is now in the top flight for clubs (finish 3rd bottom and you still get £60m) and European competition was much more low key too.

Fans have turned away from the FA Cup because its a cronies competition and self pleasuring not for the ordinary fans now. It forgot to move with the times and now suffers from poor attendances all over the land for EVERY tie.

What the FA desperately need to do is make it the premier fans competition and reward their loyalty in the early round games count towards a final ticket out of the neutrals allocation. Give it back to the fans not the 'tout supplying' FA members up and down the country, then it may well start to claw back its prominence again in the hearts and minds of the football fraternity.

So long as it just keeps lining the pockets of the FA officials it is no better than the greedy bastard politicians and scum newspaper owners in my eyes. **** the FA hierarchy I say.<ok>

Way ahead of ourselves! But if the winner of the Arse v Everton get to play the winner of Citeh v Wigan (i.e. Citeh), we could have a Championship opponent in the semi. Happy days :)

Still, Brighton or Hull to come and Hull won't exactly be quaking for fear of us if they beat Brighton. However, the modding issues of another game against Hull fill me with more dread than another defeat to second coming of Alex Ferguson and his amber & black chums <yikes>

I think complacency would set in with Hull. If we can keep 11 men on the pitch I'd back us to beat them every time. They actually think we're ****. <laugh>

So it's about the attraction of the tie? Meaning if we manage to get to the semis we'd get 31,800

They'd blame the ref, mate! We'd have too many men on the pitch :)

Would be fantastic an away trip to Hull with the bigger allocation the FA cup gives to away fans. Brighton too would be canny as well mind despite the massive trek and the stadium being in a field. The Amex is very accomdating for away fans Ive heard.
