That's where I’ll be mate, anyone is welcome and some who chanced upon it, last time, will probably gravitate there I’ve contacted them before the first leg and asked if they’d be happy to see us … … they were delighted and wished us good luck. 18 Argyll Street, London W1F 7TP England https://www.nicholsonspubs.co.uk/restaurants/london/theargyllarmsoxfordcircuslondon#/ please log in to view this image
As much as we’d love to be there the Krankie family will be at Crown Towers in Perth beforehand along with other exiles. I’ll make sure to post a photo or two on here.
Driving down on the Friday night to Watford, into London on the Saturday morning then stopping over in Watford again on the Saturday night. \going to be an expensive weekend, but worth every penny
I’m down Friday pm and back at some point on the Sunday. Staying at Manor House which seems to be on a handy tube route for Central London.
Just sent you a text about trains, get back to me if you want more details. Sorry for the vague message, I'm a bit busy with it all at the moment.
With the hassle about the kick off time, I am thinking about driving to Peterborough staying in a hotel (£54) then going in and out on Friday night, so I might see some of you lot for the first time. Saturday I can then pick a local train in and out of London to match any kick off time, then drive home from Peterborough
We booked up in Borehamwood since around February, probably driving down on Friday - although we are still discussing mode of transport! and heading home Sunday. Since the Argyle Arms is the in place, I'll be pushing to head there Saturday
Just there and back on the day for me, how I usually do it. Delighted to have my dad going Wembley wouldn’t be the same without him.
Branch bus booked, just waiting for KO time to determine departure / pick up details at Branch meeting tomorrow night. Hope it's sorted by then cos up to Fife for a long weekend on Friday..
Was hoping someone had started this post & good shout to go again with smugs suggestion, was good to meet a few last time....plus a decent pint in a glass, easy to get served. Hope to see few of you again
I am thinking of going down just for the craic. Wont have a ticket, and wont be pushing for one as loads of Sunderland deserve one more than me. But I might go just for the weekend and being close to it all. I have spent the day today feeling emotions of complete elation and despair at not being able to attend last night. I chose to make my life away from Sunderland but god I miss being able to go to each game and then earn the right for games like this.
Already given my ticket away, going to meet a female friend in Plymouth and watch it in a pub, thats if SKY ever deciide what time we kick off
5 of us driving down on Sat morning. Staying in Borehamwood then tubing it to Wembley. Same as we did v Wycombe. Same seats too. Hoping these are all good signs
