To be fair to the stadium ground staff, this match was never scheduled to be played there tonight. Although some watering of the pitch and green paint over the NFL pitch markings would have helped....or is it purposely left to act as advertising for the next game?

Big Mike's probably on the phone now asking if Newcastle can have the next game, with Sports Direct having some limited edition NFL stock to tie in with it.

Shocking that! City doing well though, getting the quarterbacks into the end zone.

I think this would suit us. The way we are playing we could well be First Down.

Cheer up Jak - I know Man U are underperforming this season, but they'll probably stay up.

Surely more effort could have been made to tidy up that pitch. Disgrace is the right word.

Spurs fans beelin about the state of the pitch now. As someone on twitter said... it’s like being homeless and kipping on your mates sofa but going out your way to complain to him that the sofa is a bit lumpy...

Naw, its like being homeless and kipping on your mates sofa but going out your way to complain to him that the sofa is a bit lumpy after returning from a night out and discovering he'd invited 22 big burly Americans to bounce up and down on it for 3 hours!

Spurs shouldn't have been allowed to play home games at Wembley. Bad enough that semi finals are held there, now league games?

The real question is how are they being allowed to revert to their new stadium half way through a season? What happened to the ruling that all home games must be played at the same ground?

NB: Will Swans B be joining Swans A in the Championship next season or has Ashley got a cunning plan?
