Well done to East Southanpton based, Wessex Premier League side, Sholing FC for winning their FA Vase semi-final 2nd leg against Eastbourne United, 4-2 (6-4 on aggregate) today.

Thank you. Amazing game at Eastbourne, Sholing were sublime in the first half and went 3-0 up. Then Eastbourne pull back two scrappy goals after the restart and you start to fear the worst, but a late 4th sent the 100 or so travelling Sholing fans into raptures and the party could begin.

Huge achievement to get to a Wembley final. It takes place on Saturday 10th, the day before Saints take on Man U.

Well done, but is that not a long way for a team from New Zealand to travel for a non-league game?

West Auckland are from Durham and have an illustrious history. They actually won the World Cup twice, before it was between countries!
