Cardiff City have had the Canton Stand at the CCS renamed as the Croeso Stand by entering a sponsorship deal with the Welsh Assembly Government at a cost of £110.000, they have also agreed to purchase airtime from sky during Cardiff televised games to promote Wales on the wider world stage, i am expecting to see them being called the Assembly All Star 11 at some point in the near future as the next stage of their rebranding excercise.

    Cheers a Croeso

    Tut! Tut! Mabs!

If you followed the jax you would realise they received even more from the Welsh government in stand sponsorship.

Stop winding him up Mabon. Leave that to HMRC.

Or even Swansea Town (twice). There's nothing like experience.

Shouldn't you be drafting another plea for the next winding up order coming your way?

Don't play Hoofball, Prepare for your relegation battle and be prepared for your fans to cause shame and embarrassment to the decent MK Malaysia fans.
    Hope that helps

No, it doesn't help at all I'm afraid.

The request was for some advice from your considerable past experience in answer to the impending winding up order we are about to get.

Well Oldsparkey, the secret is if you're on the verge of bankruptcy make sure your debts are low enough so that a group of supporters can group together and buy the club securing an amazing future for it in the process. Whatever you do don't go broke owing £80M to some unknown foreign speculator, otherwise it could be the end of your club.

You have more than enough from last few years, you know the new administration laws better than us, we can't help in this matter anymore. :D

    Touchy,tetchy lot.

I guess being almost £100,000,000.00 in debt, and having a foreign owner who they don't really know that much about, would contribute greatly to their uncertainty, and insecurity.

Nothing to do with being touchy fellas - just a response to a response.

Hang on a minute though, I forgot, this is the Swansea forum and "banter" only works one way........<laugh>

Dai - more of a chance of going down than not? Possibly true, but then again by no means a certainty. Maybe we will and we will have to see what Vince does then. All I know is that he will do all in his power to keep us there.

Before anyone mentions likening us to Fernandes at QPR chucking his chequebook at it and failing, I've already addressed that issue on our board. Totally different mindsets and club managerments
