Just been told by a friend that the entrance fee to the Welling friendly is £12, if this is true , seems a tad steap to me, can anyone confirm this

Welcome 2Para! Military background at all?

Not only are they twelve quid, you've got to go along to the box office in person, pay cash and pick them up - no phone bookings, no credit cards.

A tad inconvenient if you're 200 miles away...

Not too much difference from previous years I thought? Plus, they really need the money!

Personally, if I couldn't get a ticket, I'd be shinning up the wall with a ladder to see this one.

I have to say that I don't begrudge them this money but as they're going to be living off it for the next two or three months, I'd have thought their box office would have dipped their toes into 21st century technology to ensure a full house.

I assume we'll be able to get tickets on the day?

Got a mate who is a Welling United fan (and I try to go whenever the Addicks arnt playing) - Tickets are always avaliable on the day though expect a bit of a long queue the closer you get to Kick-Off (what with it being the Weekend this year)

Tickets were £11 last season during the League game due to Welling's Financial difficulties am guessing the £12 admittance is to ensure that they dont go through the same problems again this season (seeing that if they had avoided getting the 5pt deduction / transfer embargo they would have got themselves firmly into the Play-Offs)

Does anyone know if we have lined up replacement opposition for the postponed Reading match?

Not as far as I know, reading quickly snapped up Bristol rovers, remember CP saying as much as there trying to sort out another match its hard being this late.

You could also get tickets at this years danson festival ...I know I'm a tad late with that news
