Wellens To Be Captain

    Good choice I feel. A well-respected figure in the dressing room and a natural leader on the pitch as well. Also, being a midfield player, he has the ability to grab a game by the scruff of the neck if it isn't going well and he's key to our passing play - our playmaker if you like.

    He'll have a job on his hands to keep his place for the whole season with all the CM's we have but I think this is the best choice for captain.

    Natural choice for captain I'd say! I would have quiet liked to have seen Mills wear the armband though...

    Mills id have gone for. A captain should be a regular. Mills will play more.

    what i dont understand from all the captaincy things for leicester and england etc is that in all the teams ive played in, the captain picks itself effectively in training. Its the one who naturally leads the group.

    Cant see that it has officially been announced yet unless I have missed it on LCFC.com. Sven said it would be finalised today
