One of the best I've ever seen.
Just wait for all les miserables to come on and say "he was lucky, could have gone anywhere" etc...

It was pretty impressive. Give it an hour and someone will be claiming it was pure luck or that he 'shinned it', someone always does. He's a class player, we've just not seen much of it against English teams so most people in this country think he's over-rated whereas, in fact, there is good football outside the Premiership.

Didnt they say earlier that he's won the league for his club in each of the last 8 seasons.

    Lucky? Or instrumental to success?

Either way, the guy has awesome technique..... I'm throwing it out there, but he has a great touch for a big man.

Joe Hart was at fault for 2 goals tonight needs to deflate his ego a bit.. Great finish though<ok>

Sterling did great and I think Osman also did well mind the game only turned when Woy changed the defence :undecided:

  9. Luckiest finish I have ever seen. He ****ing slipped over, it hit his kneecap and it could have gone anywhere. Add the axeman chopping Shawcross' legs off and the batteries in the remote control for Joe Hart running out and it is a bit of a joke finish<doh>

Absolute quality. Possibly one of the most technically gifted players of all time - just a shame he lacks the mentality to really elevate his game to the levels of Ronaldo and Messi.

It's amazing how people think he is overrated. As already mentioned, he is a technical God. He has won the league in his past 8 seasons and the big clubs are always after him.

The English media in particular are guilty of this, and I think they base it on the fact that he is lazy. What they need to remember is that Zlatan posseses more technical ability in his little toe than the entire England team put together.

A player can rely on technical abilty alone and be a success. A player who relies on speed and power will be found out.

Pure Flook. Just got lucky. Could have gone anywhere. If he tried it again he'd miss the ball.

    Hope that satisfies. <ok>

    lads

1 great technique, confidence and superb execution..

    2. joe hart... all goals can be traced back to an error by a defender. every single one you can point to someone doing something wrong. thats life and we ignore it mostly and just enjoy the positive attacking intent behind them. But joe hart flogged that one. no need to be out, two defenders back pedaling and the left full would have got infront of zlatan.

    still a great finish.

oh and on zlatan.. he's nothing but a money merchant. its not medals he's after but purely get as many club in as possible and rack up the cash. he could have been one of the all time greats but he's actually just a swedish local legend. when he went to barca he should have been set to be the world's greatest striker

To be fair, he was screwed over at Barca as Pep pandered to Messi's request to play up front for his own personal glory.

8 league titles in a row for different clubs and one of the worlds best players without question.

Yes he chases the dollar a bit but he has the medals too.

  20. Ibrahimovic is a top player who I would happily see Liverpool sign. You don't win eight league titles in a row despite being at six or seven different clubs in that time without being a bloody good player!
