The razzamatazz, the expense and everything that was associated with the Olympics, infrastructure, stadia etc. How much has it cost in total? And will we (as a nation) make any money from it? I very much doubt it. China counldnt even gain from the Beijing Olympics and they are a nation on the up and not dead on its knees in a double recession where more and more people are in debt and cannot afford the basic necessities. I'm sorry but from me this will probably prove to be one our most costly mistakes ever at a time when belt tightening was required. That's my opinion anyway. **** you Seb Coe.

The whole point of London getting the Olympics was so they could redevelop the east end at the taypayers expense. <me cynical?> However, it was enjoyable and saved us from two weeks of the usual doom and gloom on the news.
It was overblown pomposity from a Third World Country and boy are gonna pay for it. Waste of money and will result in the total collapse of the economy. ****in ****. I'll watch the Spazzlympics though, now that is proper sport.
