Reading are happy with survival in the PL, and will remain that way, season upon season. McDermott is easily safe.
The only one I want to see go down is 'arry and his crowd...he is off again buying another team..........They must be breaking the new regulations on expenditure to income surely.....
Lambert really does looked worried, the poor sod. Frustration and bewilderment are written all over his face.
Last thing we need is to have him sacked and then they get a new lease of life for the run-in. Anyway, I think the cruelest thing Villa can do is not sack him, and I'm not sure they will - otherwise before the window is probably a better time to do it.
Someone really should create a "the many faces of Paul Lambert" compilation from the various exasperated looks he's produced over the past month.
Players like Fondre help keep teams like them and us up , and without them , teams like Them and us ( ATM ) struggle !!!
Generally taking the piss on our board.I feel sorry for him,he did a lot for us then made the mistake of going to Villa.
Managers like Lambert and Rodgers have no loyalty. Both should have stayed at their respective clubs, instead of getting tempted with moves to "big" clubs.
Can't agree with that. As we know managers get sacked, so can see no reason why they can't move as long as compensation is paid.
FFS haven't any of you guys got a sense of humour. The last guy to get a 2-2 draw with Chelsea got sacked within a few days. Perhaps some of you might just remember him or just maybe he has already been cleansed from the memory.
Would like to see him has next Ireland manager...he has mentioned it in the past. If not then Hughton. Still don't think he'll keep Reading up despite their recent upturn in fortunes
It's all about ratcheting your pay and reputation up, though. He'll have got a big payrise, and that will stick wherever he goes next. OK, so the reputation part might not have worked, but I am sure he knew that risk, and is performing badly with a big name better than middling with a smaller and less glamorous team? I did and do think he made the wrong choice, though. I'd rather be a legend with a team like Norwich than a part of the conveyor belt at Villa.
