We'll still win the league, we're Man Utd and we do things the hard way, we'll win the league but since we made it hard for our self our next two games is a MUST win games, its goign to be hard but we must win them.
i think it was a typical performance comin .. from an outsider lookin in utd aint been great by a long shot ! and r scrapin throo by top workmanlike performances ... i just think its a good job Mancini is a ****e Manager .. cuz they do av the better squad but he aint got a clue how use em and he still plays that dik Ballotelli lol .. i hope u still win it but the flair in the team seems to be dyin .. ronney off ! mmmm anyways GL
Yeah I think we'll still win the league, anyone that thinks everythings a disaster after tonight are just over reacting. At the end of the day, if someone said we'd be 5 points ahead of City at this point 2 months ago you'd have bit their hand off to make it happen. We are still 5 points clear and only 3 goals behind on goal difference. It's not over by any means, but it's still ours to lose.
agreed dave ... just surprised utd play rooney not up top more ... he scores goals ... prob is hes that good utd allow him to drop in midfield to sort them probs out as well ! need more from midfield and rooney will fire .. but atm it seems to be a not as fluent ! lets hope SAF revs them up for the weekend .. im no Man city fan
There is no guarantee, while I agree if offered this position at start of the season I would have took I can't agree we shall simply just win it because we do things the hard way. Only top form will see the title back to the Red side of Manchester.
Everyone was gearing themselves for a vital and decisive City-United clash on 30 April. So being 5 points in front at this stage is not bad. Wigan played well, had been playing well for many games and yesterday got the result. On another day, we might have drawn (handball in the penalty area, gaol kick instaed of corner for their goal etc) It is our response which is now more important. Our next 2 games are home games. I am not saying that VIlla and Everton are bankers but if we apply ourselves, and the players are geed up instead of being flat or paralysed by fear (which I am sure they won't be allowed to be) then we should win them. Manicini thinks he is being very crafty by saying City is out of it. Of course he doesn't think that. If United draw or lose one of the next games and City win both, they are right in it and with a superior GD. But United are still very much in the driving seat. (Scholes MUST be in the squad at least !!!)
