Gus and the team. Thought Gus had got the starting line up completely wrong. However Jack in midfield was a master stroke. He was awesome today. Cuellar had a bloody good game. Dossena debut, what a tough debut but he got forward and overlapped really well. Defensively he seemed pretty tight. Cattermole worked tirelessly, will he ever last a match? Would rather we sold Bardsley. I thought at 1-1 we would once again collapse but they showed great spirit and determination. Keep it up lads.
We did the simple things right,and played the players in their rightful places.Simples,really!!We played a left-back at left-back and a specialist right-back at right-back,and let a mid-fielder called Jack Colback play in mid-field!!
