Just having a quick look at the table, and fixtures, and this weekends clash could see us jump 2 places into 7th spot.

We have Bolton at home, looking from a unbias point, and only using the table as reference, we have to be the favourite, heavily!

Bolton have only won 2 games away from home this season and lost 7. Scored 13 goals and shipped 20. Overall GD is 1.
We have won 4 games (not great), scoring 30 goals (only Man U have scored more at home) and shipping 19. Overall GD is 4.
We have drawn 5 home games, and Bolton have drawn 4 away. So there is a decent shout that this could end up being the result. But I think with our decent recent home form we should take all 3 points (putting us 2 above Bolton).

The Mackems are away to Everton, who's strange season has seen them win 4, draw 5 and loose 3 home games. Scoring 19, conceding 18.
Mackems away form is far from making this a certainty, with them winning 3, drawing 5 and losing 5. Scoring 15 and conceding 19.
I think this could play out to a draw. But if Everton can manage to produce some of the class they undoubtedly do posses, they could/should win it.
But I'm going to put this one down as a draw. Leaving the Mackems on 38 pts 0 GD, and if, as I think we will, we win we would be on 38 pts with at least 5 GD.

    could be a good weekend!

    HWTL!!!!

I fancy us to beat Bolton, I can see a big win as the lads will be after revenge for what happened down at their ground. Mackems will lose 1-0 I reckon, I fancy Everton to go on a decent run now.

We can hope that Liverpool falter at Upton Park aswell (Carroll said to be potentially making his début!) leaving us 1 point off 6th*!

Bolton are a good side, so it'll be tough, especially knowing how good they looked when they thrashed us 5-1 in there backyard!

They have a decent defense, a very technical midfield with the likes of Petrov, Holden, Mark Davies, Lee and Taylor and a very good strike-force in Kevin Davies, Daniel Sturridge, Elmandar and Klasnic.

It'll be a interesting and tough match, but I can see us nicking it!

I hope Pardew has got the players in the right frame of mind for this game and hasn't focussed them too much on the revenge aspect.

    Play our game.

I know we lost 5-1 at the Reebok but i'm pretty sure we were missing both Tiote and Barton for that game weren't we? Also Ricketts and Knight both got injured last week and i think with other injuries Bolton are going to be pretty short in quality numbers at the back.

Gonna be a tough game but with our current form i think we might get a narrow win. I'm going for 1-0 to us.

Bolton are no a totally different side to alladyce's hoof tactics a few years ago. Coyle has them playing decent football and if Elmander is on form (and might fancy his chances against Williamson having had him all over at the reebok) then it won't be any easy task. 3 points would be massive on saturday and could spark another good streak of results.

So long as Colo keeps his elbows to himself and Barton and Nolan perform, we have a good chance
