And I'm expecting a quieter week on here this week, what was, can it get any quieter, cheeky buggers. With no football to worry about this week the players, and us fans, can recharge the batteries ready for FA Cup battles at the weekend.I'm sure we will go through what team, are you going, will we have over 40,000 and can we win, but for now peace. I'm sure that today will be a prepeation day for all you romantics, make sure those flowers will arrive, quick dash to Thorntons, check the resteraunt is booked and of course, clean under garments, just on the off chance. My lady and I will be out at our favourite eating place tomorrow evening, an authentic Greek Resteraunt in Stockton of all places, small but always full, a little like me. I'm glad to say that Osca does not understand Vallentines day so I should have no bother on my return home, he will be snoring in his bed. Forgive my pointless ramble, sometimes its just good to talk but just for the now departed Joe, no Faceinhole pics.
I'm devastated that ITV have decided that the game is a 5:15 kick off - I have to be at Heppies Social Club at 7pm to get set up for the night time gig!! (North Hylton Road - notice the little advert there!!) Very annoyed but will be watching on TV and shouting the lads on!! Come on lads 4 more wins is all we need to lift the first trophy the club has seen in my lifetime!!
A bright and breezy good morning to you Syd. Dont smash all the plates at the greek restuarant tonight, and tell the old lady to go easy on the Retsina. On another note what is the state of Catts injury, does he have a chance of making the weekend fixture.
Getting tickets today hopefully got a mate coming up from the smoke for this one so might go Black Cats bar. Doing nowt for tomorrow as everything and everywhere is a rip off (our lass not me) so having a nice weekend with friends quick meal at Sambuca in North Shields then off to the game about 2 ish.
In London all week so agreed to transfer Valentines from Tuesday to Saturday - only then did I discover the 5:15pm kick off. Presently trying to convince her that going out late on Saturday is much more romantic than an early start - it's not working!!!
Yes they are a stubborn breed. If everything fails you could threaten her with the divorce courts, good luck.
Due to costs I decided to miss the league game and attend the cup game , will be taking the lad and getting as many others to go as possible. Ha'way the lads! I really do fancy us and my lad has never seen us lose!..............(he's never seen us win either, always draws :?
My OH is a footie fan and also practical so we haven't gone out on Valentines in years. We are going to stay in and cook a couple of steaks and have a nice bottle of wine tomorrow, then on Friday night we are having a meal at the Grand Hotel in Tynemouth, which is 100 metres from our house so no one has to drive. Then we are both off to the match on Saturday. Everyone wins!
Hmmmm - as advice goes this falls in to the high risk category! She's a Leeds United fan by birth so does have a tendancy to be deluded from time to time and may think that this is a really good idea!
serious advice mate, sod the football, to upset a Leeds fan is very risky, to upset one you are married to his suicidal. Threaten divorce, I did twice, been divorced, you guessed it, twice
Well it's Monday.... Guess what that means???????????????????? Yep you guessed it....Tony Pulis whining about refs once again... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17000036#asset
I was due to start work at 5pm, but I've managed to wangle it to 7:15pm for the game..I'm really looking forward to this one and fancy us to win...
Nicked this... Nuts the pair of them...
Tickets purchased £20 each can't go wrong for that money lads not in the bar went concourse for a change of scenery.
Heppies was my local for years mate (i worked at homeworthy's for years) and also had my engagement party there, canny club like
