its an method tried by many and from my experience works. however, i predict there will be problems when it starts and i just hope the club are ready to deal with this
I sincerely hope that those with pre-bought electronic tickets don't have to queue up at a cash turnstile, otherwise it defeats the object. If you have to queue then there is little point; might as well decide on the day whether or not to go.
the obvious problems with cash on gate is people who are banned could just walk in without giving details.
Blues fans now have the option to print matchday tickets at home, enabling them to avoid queuing at Adams Park and waiting for tickets to arrive in the post. When did that happen?
Why is that? Do people not buy tickets in advance and just leave it until about 2pm on a Saturday afternoon? I guess I am struggling with the concept being a season ticket holder for so many years and could just walk in.
some people do that, plus some buy tickets in advance and pick them up on the day. plus, this is all the same line as the tickets for the away games, which is sometimes out the door. being a season ticket holder myself, i am able to avoid this
being a season ticket holder it doesnt affect me and for away games i get the tickets sent to me ,cant waste valuable drinking time standing outside ticket office when my pint is waiting for me inside
It will be good if I can print off away game tickets, this will avoid waiting for tickets to arrive in the post, wondering if they will arrive on time. I'm a blues card holder, I don't know why more casual fans don't use this, you only need to decide the day before and then you can just walk in!
the blues card was a good edition, but i think the club have given up with pushing it to the casuel fans, you hardly hear about it anymore! as for away tickets, the printing off is a good idea but the issue is that if hard copies are sent to the away clubs and fans can print out from home tickets may end up being sold twice, which could cause untold confusion!
