From a gunners fan in peace just wanted to say congratulations and cheers for knocking the spuds into Europa

 

Frimpong,there are some of us Spuds who can take it. We are getting better and should challenge again next season.

 

I can fully understand the frustration and hurt of genuine Spurs supporters, it’s a **** way to be denied CL football next season .................but for the rest, I hope you feel pain........especially that **** "Totsfan the grotty little arse kissing peterpuffer !!

 

Congratulations on a real backs to the wall performance throughout the whole tournament. The spirit since the second leg against Napoli has been obvious. Drogba's header was Gullit-esque. I hope RDM gets the nod, but even if moneybags Roman says no, he will never take an FA cup and Champions Legue away from him as a manager. You are European Champions and history will always show it.

As a Jack, I personally dislike the Oligarch thing in football, but in the highest echilons of football it is a necessity (and I found myself surprisingly pleased that he got what he wanted/paid for after all these years).

Outstanding achievement by Roberto & the team -he should get the nod after all he has climbed to the top of the greasy pole. As for the game it was always going to be a "rope-a-dope" performance given an under-strength side playing Bayern on their home paddock; I'm not complaining as we have finally got the CL monkey off our backs. Thanks to the other fans for their congrats - looking forward to next season.

I'm no great fan of the oligarch thing either (mildly Ironic coming from a Latic) but it boils down to people like Drogba, Cole, Cech and Mikele walking onto a pitch and delivering. Out there their money doesn't mean anything.

It just seemed that it was yours this year. You've had that bit of luck that every team needs and you've produced some outstanding defensive plays against the likes of Barca.

And who would have thought that an English side would beat a German side on penalties!
