Really thought we played well, first half was excellent, second half very good. Freeman mom by a mile,Flint nice to see him getting back in the goals. Massive win today,MK DONS next week is a huge huge six pointer. will be making the trek for this one.
Controlled the game since the 1st minute, subs were spot on, didn't panic when Ipswich scored. early days yet but we've given ourselves a great chance of staying up. Oh yeah, and the mob down the road lost and our out of the play offs.. Happy days
MM had some gracious words: ""We didn't defend the set-pieces well enough, but credit where it is due because the delivery and movement at the two corners was an example to any young players."
And a quote from the Ipswich not606 board: "Well done to your lads, they played some good stuff and looked far more comfortable on the ball than our lot."
When did we get this Marlon Pack from? The last one who shared his name was average but this one since Cotts departed is fantastic. How many of us was hoping Korey got the goal he was so desperate to get today. Mom was Korey Smith, but as Shiny pointed out the other week, he's the easy choice as he is the most accomplished player we have. O'Donnel was outstanding, and Agard when he came on chased everything down. Would like to see Agard alongside Tomlin.
Korey really is our top player by a mile, should be LJ's captain! leads by example. The save by their keeper from him today was absolute class, gotta say.
O'Donnel is absolute class,we have not had a keeper of his class since Tom Heaton? Marlon Pack looks a new signing since Cotts departure. Agard looked good when he came on. Kojak needs dropping. I would play Tomlin central with Agard or Wilbs. If we can find a goal scorer we will climb the championship with ease. Love to sign Tomlin class class player. LJ subs were spot on,well done to him. Johnson says bounce around the ground. Mk next week massive,we will be there for this one.
Great result and a much improved performance. Still slightly worrying about our inability to score from open play. Agree that both Freeman & Pack looked back to their L1 form of last season. I thought Joe Bryan was much improved as well. Agard for me is still an enigma, yes he chases every ball and causes defenders discomfort, but his finishing is simply not good enough at this level. I think come May he will be moved on, along with Wilbs, who only played 20-25 mins and was blowing out of his arse, couple these 2 with Kodija's alarming slump in form and it is is easy to see the area in which LJ has to do the most work. Great result, much needed as most other teams around us picked up at least a point, so a massive game next against MKD. Be honest, when that board went up showing an extra 5 mins, who thought I bet we blow this now? I did.....
It's probably his long johns are a bit itchy. I must be the unluckiest person going, virtually every time I've been to Paris the temperature is the same as the U.K., so St Dennis must be the hotest place in Paris because wearing long johns and thick gloves there must be a massive climate change.
Positive thing for me is that LJ does not like playing with a lone striker and likes to get a midfielder into the opposition box, happy days
