I know that The Allams have received a lot of stick regarding their running of Hull City AFC (most of it justified), but I feel they must be supported regarding their SMC dealings with Hull FC. For too long this mickey mouse club (Hull FC) playing that mickey mouse sport (RL) have had it too cushy in their role of stadium tenants. For example, The Allams have for many years paid for FC season tickets that their small fanbase didn't want. So if FC sold 7000 season tickets, The Allams would fork out for an extra 1500 (even they there weren't any FC fans to sell them to) in a bid to balance the SMC books. All this has led to FC fiddling their attendances upwards. I have lost count the times I have flicked through Sky when they have been live to see a KC Stadium with no more than 8000 there, yet their attendance has been given as 10000 plus. This doesn't happen at City games (if anything our attendances are fiddled downwards especially for cup games), so why should FC inflate their attendances year in year out ? I am sick at the way FC are always pulling at our coattails. They, apart from the Derby games with KR, have generated no income for the stadium. Game after RL game the KC is scattered with swathes of empty seats that have never been used. Even the game with KR no longer comes close to 20000. Yet FC fans have the audacity to complain when The Allams say they going to shut stands for future RL matches. The RL fraternity are now moaning at the beer prices even though they can take their beers to their seats (unfairly unlike better behaved football fans). Indeed why are there no police at FC matches when they have a long history of bricking opposition fans coaches? The RL yobs are now squealing like little girls because they can no longer pay on the turnstiles. What's the big deal? They have a fortnight between matches to nip into town to buy a ticket from their shop for the next game. The insular lazy ways of RL fans never ceases to astound me. I know the SMC can't kick FC out the stadium for contractual reasons, but I wish they could. Most FC fans hate Hull City and are desperate to see us relegated. But instead of moaning about The Allams and Hull City, they should grow some balls and seek their independence in their own stadium. But they won't because their rubbish club and rubbish sport has no money. Hull City AFC does not deserve to have Hull FC and their horrible supporters lingering close to us like a bad smell. All the best attendances in Hull in the last 100 years and more have come at Hull City AFC games. We deserve OUR freedom from the rugby scum.
Jesus I don't agree with Hat whatsoever but to suggest he's not a City fan makes you look idiotic to say the least
This made him look idiotic? You obviously haven't read his Magnum Opus: http://www.not606.com/threads/castros-coffin-is-an-ex-hull-city-supporter.287165/
Is Hat really a Hull City fan when he constantly rips our most successful team and most successful manager to bits?
Either your trying to wind people up or your ****ing clueless, either way stop posting this type of inane drivel on the board, no one wants to read it.
I like your first post. This one however is silly. You're saying it's not because he isnt a City fan. I. E. You're saying he is. Commas are your friend.
There has always been an arrangement where the SMC handled the Premier Club, so ended up subsidising the poor selling FC passes, but the Allam's have binned this arrangement and as far as I'm aware we no longer subsidise anything.
I'll post as I please. I'm no wind up merchant, just a 100% Hull City fanatic born and bred. You obviously can't accept the truth, but, going by your username, that's no surprize. GERROM ONSIDE AIRLIE BIRD!!!
I was saying he probably can't accept the truth of what I wrote because, going by his own dubious postings, he is yet to convince me that he is a proper City fan. Have you not seen how MR Hat constantly rips Hull City to pieces?
Very sarcastic!! But then again what would you know about the Football v Rugby argument when you live in splendour of the East Riding sticks?
I know that hating Hull FC or Hull KR doesn't make you a better Hull City fan. I'm not sure the fact that I live in the East Riding makes much difference to anything, it's where most Hull City fans live.
