As a life long PNEsupporter, I find it very difficult to say this to our arch rivals, Blackburn Rovers, but many congratulations on beating the other team from Manchester, the one not called City. Despite all the manager's excuses, from the commeentary, I thought Rovers deserved their win. His fatuous remark was that 'the pitch was heavy'! I am surprised the BBC pundits did not pick him up on that. Rovers' supporters may be aware of the spite that man showed against PNE when PNE requested his son to leave & that any team that plays against his team will be cheered on by a true NE supporter. One tends to think that that club thinks it owns the English league. Well, it does not even own itself...the banks do. And it is about time they do us all a favour by calling in its debts. As for Rovers, I hope you stay up. I think your manager is a fine man & will turn out to be a top manager. Stop persecuting him & staRT BACKING HIM. One day PNE will once again play against you. This time in the so called Premier League. A prosperous New Year to Rovers & from the bottom of my heart, many, many thanks
