I echo some of the other comments...........It really is nice to see that Saints and Pompey fans can get on.......Just like you, we too have our fans that find it hard to be friendly. You deal with yours and we will deal with ours. Look forward to the derbies next year and may the best team win on the day........Anyway thank you for your congrats Woopert and Hemanator and for the friendly banter........

 

I would also like to thank you both and am already lusting for next season's fixture list to be printed. We can both look forward to some good banter and hopefully we can keep the banter more friendly even after we have erased your bragging rights with two big wins.

To all of you wanting to be luvvy duvvy to the Skates just remind me of the song you were singing yesterday. You know the one. It started of with " We're coming for you." I am sure you remember it as you were all singing it at the top of your voices.

I am not two faced I can't stand the Skates and will not pretend otherwise. The vitriol we receive from their poisonous fans just has to be believed. A nastier bunch of football fans you have never met in your lives. Be nice to them? You just have to be joking.

 

I am intrigued. When you use the word "Skates", do you mean every single Portsmouth supporter is worth hating? And their club? And their ground? And their players? And their sponsors? And their youth team? Do you hate a whole generation of children because they support their local team, perhaps?
Sorry, I don't get that. I can tell the difference between genuine good-wishes and a wind-up

 

You are tarring them all with the same brush, just like us they have good and bad, you are not doing yourself any favours trying to explain yourself, it is irrational and unSaintly behaviour, you don't have to lower yourself to the same level of the bad guys, just ignore them, they hate that more than being responded to.

 

Chanting en masse against a rival team is a bit different to being rude to someone who offers congratulations. My brother and several people at work are Pompey fans..we have banter, I don't hate them.
