Carragher tried to apologise to Nani after the game but it is understood the Portuguese was unwilling to engage with the defender, who was denied access by United's players to their dressing room. He then waited outside with the intention of saying sorry but Nani is understood to have walked by. Well done Nani for not accepting an apology from that dirty scouse.
Not sure I agree to be fair. I dislike Carragher greatly, and thought his lunge was shocking, an obvious attempt to hobble Nani. But I think in these situations you should always try to be the "bigger man".
I don't really care about Nani's reaction either way. It's all a load of handbags and s anyway. But I am happy that Nani was able to walk past him. The fact he was allowed to walk on his leg means the medical staff must be confident there's no bone or muscle damage, so he should be back that much earlier.
actually carragher was turned away at the united dressing room door, nani didnt walk past him, he didnt even get to see nani, he was told to go away by united staff
Personally I can't believe there was so much furore about Rooney's forearm on McCarthy (which made him wince and rub the back of his head for a bit), whereas Nani was left with quite a severe gash on his shin and potentially a spell out injured, and there's nothing. Carragher and Rooney are both mouthy scousers with a temper, the only difference is that one plays for United and the other for Liverpool.
