Surprising in some ways that Messi's only national trophy so far came from Argentina's Olympics win.
Well done to them doing over the Brazilian team.

Edit: Let's not mention Rattin et al's 1966 naughty stuff shall we?

You're right TC, we shouldn't mention Rattin on here, especially how this could be a big day for us.
So everyone, no mention of Rattin, Rattin's a no no. There is absolutely no need for Rattin to be mentioned. I will be severly pissed off if Rattin is mentioned.
So to be absolutely clear no mention of Rattin, no no Rattin :emoticon-0145-shake:emoticon-0145-shake:emoticon-0145-shake

A right royal mess at Barca.
Messi will now be leaving the club forthwith, following a collapse of the deal to keep him!
Man City bound or PSG. Me thinks!

It’ll be PSG I reckon. Only they can compete with Man City financially but I don’t think Man City will go for a 34-year-old Messi when they’ve just spent £100 mil on Grealish and are actively pursuing Kane.

Chelsea are maybe the only PL club he’ll end up this summer, but that’s a big if.

I would have thought Messi would just be best off retiring.

If he still loves the game and wants to play, then why retire? I'm sure he'll end up in the MLS or back home

Oh yeah, it's nowt to do with me or anyone else. It's just what I'd do, that's all.

I was better than him by the way....
