Couldn't go today due to work but what an excellent response to the disappointment of the last few games. I was very critical after the defeats against Newport and Chesham so credit where credit's due, this was a much needed win and more importantly, shows the character of the team and has hopefully broken this horrible run of bad results at home. I have no idea at the moment if we played well, were lucky. deserved the victory or not, but frankly,I dont care! The most important thing is that we got the 3 points and have shown that we CAN score goals and win games at The Mem. Well done again to DC and the boys.<party>

I'm the opposite I could actually go today as I didn't have to work  Yes we definitely needed that, a good performance, two well taken goals and to be honest I think it was coming especially after the last few home games where we have played well but failed to score and win. Lets hope its not a one off.

Great performance today all the players looked really keen from the off. Both goals well taken and with a bit of good fortune I felt that 5 or 6 wouldn't have flattered us.
that performance was worth getting wet for. Chris Lines looked like the player that we had last season and Billy Bodin's driving run that from lines pass that led to to the first goal was the thing that has been missing from some of the home performances this season

I thought it was a nice touch playing the French Anthem as the players came out. I thought that Nick Day's speech was brilliant and the minutes silence was impeccable. And to top it off with a great performance. My Jack Daniels is going to taste better tonight.

Home form back on track, Matty climbing the scoring charts and a game in hand on a few sides above us... great stuff!

I said after the Chesham game that we need great performances in the next set of fixtures. We massively improved on Wednesday vs Southend with our performance but same old story that we couldnt convert chances. Yesterday was going the same way, we huffed and puffed and were very dominant. 4, 5 or 6 nil wouldnt have flattered us. Our performance was great. But again it took a very long time to convert a chance. Now we have done it, I hope this springs us into action and take this momentum into the next set of games.

Well done DC and the players with your response since the Chesham game. But we are still struggling with converting our chances. Yesterday could have been over after just 10 minutes. We made it hard for ourselves.
